Its absolutely awesome. I used to stay up for so many nights just to chill out and watch it when i was about 12 or so.
i really liked how natural the speech was, its one of the few shows where you forget its a bunch of lines being read (although a load of it was improv'd.) good times, and coach is the best character.
That's one of the things I was talking about. Just the little conversations.
Coach Fucking McGuirk is my favorite character.

I don't really like the show, it's humor is mostly based on conversation.
But that's just my opinion.

if im not mistaken, the brendon small in the show is voiced by brendon small (the real person) and is the same person who writes Metalocalypse, and all the music that dethklok plays...i think, correct me if im wrong...please

I love this series, as its one of the few I'd stop what I was doing to watch.
Each character is original, the conversations sound so natural, and the (lack of) a plotline is great! It isnt bogged down by "if you missed these episodes, you wont get this one" Each episode is a stand-alone, as they rarely run off of each other, and though most of the humor is delivered through talking, there are still great physical moments. My favorite physical one is where they are making a ninja movie, with Melisa taking a leap of faith off the stairs to attack brendan, who lets just say should of chosen a better spot to stand :P

Home Movies is one of my favorite shows, Brendan Small is a genius
You love it so much because it is brilliantly written. In addition, due to Brenden Small doing just about everything, the show's dialogue, character design, animation style, and pacing all work together to deliver a near-perfect piece. Mr Small voices a ton of the characters, wrote the series, and creates the music. In my opinion, he is more of a genius than Larry David.
